Thanks for Creating This

No doubt Newgrounds has a plethora of content that deserves praise and respect, but it is work like this that makes me grateful that NG does exist. Walking passed the popular death metal scene, disdain for the new breed or was it indicative of the theme of change and renewal? Great ending, I'll be checking out your other work.

It has been a slow morning..

Thanks for submitting something good! :D

Some of the scenes were pretty funny; like the teddy bear for example and the last scene with the palm trees. I am not sure whether you intended the alarm to be funny, but it was. Some of the jokes were misses, but it didn't take away from the overall feeling of the Flash very much. Animation was clean and smooth; it looked very well done. Overall it was a good cartoon.

Poorly Drawn Stick Animations.. To The Max!

From the very beginning of the Flash I see attributes that are found in 'higher level' Flash animators works. The plane flying across the sky, while the the camera went upward during the opening credits for example; it -looked- very good.. other than the graphics of course. I saw that your use of vantage points (perspective) is very good. I do think that your choice of music played a very crucial role in this animations score (even though it is only 2.58, I could see it being substantially lower or even blammed had you not used this music). Overall.. if you were to put more time and dedication into your Flashes, graphics inparticular, it would do very, very well in the Portal. Good work, I really liked it.

I don't like these one-line summaries..

I liked this game, but I could see myself losing interest in a matter of 2 minutes. I liked the music in this game, it made me want to leave the window open while I look at other Flashes (it is playing while I type as a matter of fact XD). The practice area is a nice feature, but it is pretty pointless.

Vote 5? Subliminal messages, or what? :D

Patchco responds:

Hey, thanks. haha, yeah I like subliminal messages haha.

SQ in G min - I. Largo (3:33)

Slowly waking up.. realizing the situation is foreign, different from your previous waking state. A tower of vegetation, surmounted by fog, dominates your field of vision. Walking hesitantly around, the realization that you've been abandoned in an ancient hedge maze dawns on you like the low level sun that has just peeked its head out, creating a comforting yet eerie ambience around your vicinity. Gnarled roots and overgrown weeds impede your footsteps as you wander round corner after corner. Hope, blossomed by the notion that mazes have exits, is trampled by the harsh reality that you can only describe your predicament by what has been experienced since waking - this wretched place, becoming more isolating by the moment, could have an expanse of many, many miles. You can feel yourself skipping merrily down the steps of despair, as insanity may be the only way out. Losing control yet continuing to tread the unknown path you reach a break in the brush as the heavy set fog thickens and all that remains is a bright, white void.

-----

I am not so good at discussing music in technical terms, but I can certainly close my eyes and see where the notes take my imagination. I really like this.
